Concepción Huerta & Clara de Asís
Concepción Huerta creates aural textures of narrative background with ambient and noise as pillars. Concepción Huerta and Clara de Asís find shared interests in their approach to sound as a vector of multiple realities. Drawing in an exploration of resonance, spatiality, the politics of noise and perception, they come together in a duo collaboration unfolding through synthetic and non-synthetic sound, synthesizer, tape machines and audio recordings.
Concepción Huerta (Mexico) is a multidisciplinary artist moving across sound, speculative narratives, video and immersive installation. Her work reflects on the relationship between silence-noise, political space, and the sound agent as a means of enunciation. Her music is published on labels such as Umor Rex, Étang Brulant, SA Recordings, and Static Discos. She has performed in America, Europe and Asia, including festivals and venues like UMBRAL, Coaxial Arts, MUTEK, No idea Festival, Rewire, Cafe OTO, Fylkingen, Le Guess Who?, Morphine Raum, among others. She is also a member of the experimental ensemble Amor Muere with Gibrana Cervantes, Camille Mandoki and Mabe Fratti, with whom she has collaborated in several publications.

Clara de Asís (Spain/Vienna) is an experimental composer and performer who works with analog electronics, sound synthesis, found objects and acoustic instruments to explore perception, critical temporalities and the ecologies of attention. She has performed on festivals like Sonic Acts, Rewire, Archipel; and has been an artist-in-residence at Experimental Sound Studio (Chicago), Tsonami (Valparaiso), Q-O2 (Brussels) and EMS (Stockholm), among others. Her music is released on labels such as Another Timbre, Elsewhere, Marginal Frequency, Pilgrim Talk, Blank Mind, and Erstwhile. She also runs the record label Discreet Editions and is an artistic director for the Göteborg Art Sounds festival.
Nguyễn + Transitory
Nguyễn + Transitory reconfigure spaces into musical architectures that merge the spectral resonances of traditional folk and contemporary forms. Their practice explores the transformative potential of sound, not simply as an aesthetic medium, but as a dramaturgical force deeply entwined with cognitive memory, lost histories, and collective experiences within contemporaneity. Rather than dissolving distinctions between folk traditions and contemporary practices, Nguyễn + Transitory create an artistic language born from the friction and productive tension between these disparate forms. Through this dialogue, they allow each tradition to retain its integrity while simultaneously giving rise to something entirely new – an evolving expression that navigates between the past and present without privileging or diminishing either.
At the heart of their practice is an ongoing negotiation between the friction of form and the fluidity of artistic process, challenging colonial frameworks by allowing these intersections to shape new, plural languages of performance. Their earlier works, such as Bird Bird, Touch Touch, Sing Sing (2019), laid the groundwork for their exploration of spatial and sonic boundaries, while tres|hold (2025) and Topography of Vulnerabilities (2020-2022) have further pushed the possibilities of sound as site-specific sculptures.
For Nguyễn + Transitory, the past is not a static inheritance, but a living, transformative force that continuously reshapes the present. Their practice resists fixed outcomes, embracing the performative process as a site of becoming, where sound, space, and history are constantly redefined and reconstituted.
En creux / Lucia H Chung
Lucia H Chung is a Taiwanese experimental noise artist based in London, United Kingdom. She performs and releases music under the alias ‘en creux’ where sound creation springs from her interests and fascinations in the inherent noise floor within audio equipment. She uncovers and reveals such hidden noise via her manipulations with no-input feedback mixing. The volatile nature of feedback and the unpredictable glitch from the excessive energy generated within the equipment becomes her improvisational and compositional strategy. As the word ‘en creux’ suggests, she summons a hollowed out, reversed form of sound from the mixing console.
Lucia’s passion lies in live performance and has regularly performed solo and with collaborators in the UK, Europe, Asia and North America, including Lausanne Underground Film and Music Festival (CH), Krama Festival (GR), Lisboa Soa Festival (PT), Sanatorium of Sound Festival (PL), Festival Electropixel (FR), Sonorities Festival (NI), Through the Floor Festival (UK), Supernormal (UK) and Laking Sound Festival (TW).
She also works as a broadcaster and an independent curator at Happened. She has curated and organised residency programmes and music events around the UK and Europe, including 3-month Taiwanese Experimental Music residency for Music Hackspace at Somerset House Studios, Inland virtual residency between Lacking Sound Fest. (Taiwan) and IKLECTIK (UK), and a panel discussion Going Platinum! on video game music as part of Grounding Practice at Somerset House Studios.
Luc Döbereiner
Luc Döbereiner is a composer, musician and researcher whose work explores the fragility, contingency and materiality of sound. Through his music, he investigates the entanglement of social, technological and compositional systems, investigating processes of sonic becoming, liminality and the relationality of sound. His work explores how meaning and identity are both dissolved and constituted in sound.
Taking various forms, including collaborative and solo performances, fixed media works, and written scores for choirs, soloists, and ensembles, his music frequently incorporates adaptive generative processes and sound synthesis algorithms. Döbereiner views synthesis as a processual form of computational becoming, where perceptual forms emerge from material encounters. Influenced by a wide range of genres, including early experimental computer music, medieval and renaissance polyphony, noise, improvisation, and sound art, his music is characterized by continuously evolving forms, states of fragility, noise, and turbulence.
Originally from Berlin, Luc Döbereiner has performed in experimental music venues across Europe. He has collaborated with ensembles such as LUX:NM, Eklekto Percussion, KNM, Schallfeld, AuditivVokal and Vertixe Sonora. He studied at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague and holds a PhD from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. Alongside his creative work, he has taught at institutions including the Donaueschinger Musiktage, the University of the Arts Berlin, the Bern University of the Arts, and the Free University of Berlin. He has also been a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Research in New Music at the University of Huddersfield and the Institute for Electronic Music and Acoustics in Graz and served as a professor of AI in composition and sound synthesis at the University of Music Trossingen.
Döbereiner is part of the duos End of Text together with Ludvig Elblaus and NOR together with Martin Lorenz.
